I fell into love with Disney World a long, long time ago. For me, it’s not about the fun rides, or the gorgeous attractions, or wonderful service provided by Disney cast members that make me love the place, although they certainly don’t hurt.
It’s about the stories. It’s that Disney World embodies the stories that we tell our children, that end up being with them throughout their lifetimes.
As the Epcot show Reflections of Earth used to say: “We’re gathered here tonight, around the fire – as people of all lands have gathered for thousands and thousands of years before us – to share the light, and to share a story.“
